Autodesk University is this week, I haven’t been in two years and it feels like a lifetime. Envy is born. One of my favorite blogs, Through the Interface, has had videos from floor of The Venetian. Envy grows. Spending all day writing code to generate drawings using Autodesk’s APIs. Envy boils.
With all the iPhone app development I have been doing lately, I figured the AU envy would be lighter. Of course, it only creates more desire to be at AU. Maybe some sort of app for the AutoCAD world is needed..
As a side note, I am pretty disappointed with the one app Autodesk has put out. Seriously, Autodesk, that’s your one entry into iPhone world (itunes)? No DWF viewer? Maybe the Objective-C is flowing in San Rafael. One can only hope.
